Walk With Me
It looks like the internet has labelled me as “anti-mac”, a couple of weeks ago I got this e-mail:
Hi,
I just found your anti-mac blog entry, https://www.vegard.net/apple-power-revisited/, and I think you may be of some help to us. I’m reaching out to you on behalf of [names removed]. We’ve been hired to help spread the word about the new hilarious Mitch Ferrence site. Have you seen it yet? If not, feel free to check out Mitch’s website for more info: www.dittyo.com/maximize. Based on your blog entry, I think you might like it.
Please let us know if you’d be interested in posting a press release or blog entry.
Thanks!
Lauren

Well, Lauren, I’m a whore - so show me the money! Actually, Lauren did show me the money, but I decided it wasn’t worth it. Mitch Ferrence swag? Nah…
The entry in question actually got brief mentioning on a couple of Mac-links sites and even inspired a columnist over at PowerBookCentral.com to write a long piece about why Mac laptops should be more expensive than brand-named PC laptops. Go ahead and read “Why I Don’t Think Apple Should Cut iBook And PowerBook Prices”.
In other news; I’ve posted some pictures from China and Hong Kong and the Webcam is once again active after about two years of hiatus! Have a look at the interesting intersection outside my bedroom window.
