The Norlan Whisky Glass
I can’t quite figure out if the Norlan guys are for real, or if it’s just a very elaborate hoax. Either way; now I want a glass of whisky.
I’m tempted to pledge a few bucks to their Kickstarter campaign, because the glasses look really cool. But the imminent failure of one of my more expensive crowdfunding endeavors have made me a little bit more cautious with who and what I throw my hard earned money at.
Is it all just a load of hipster and highbrow bullshit, or do the features of the Norlan glass actually have any basis in reality? Have a look at the campaign and judge for yourself.

Thanks for the post. Fortunately, our glass doesn’t include more than… glass, so we’re pretty confident about the feasibility and production schedule, having gone through the sampling process with a reputable glass manufacturer.
As for whether our glass performs as we say it does, that will ultimately come down to personal preferences, since everyone drinks differently. After spending 1 1/2 years on the development, we definitely wouldn’t have gone forward with the project if we weren’t convinced of its merits.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts next year once you’ve had a chance to give it a road test.
Cheers,
Brian
Thanks for your feedback. I guess you leave me no choice but to shell out a few bucks for a set.
