The Big Five Oh Oh
It’s been almost a month since the last entry, there is an entry over sixty days old lurking at the bottom of this page while I’m writing this, when I’m done it’s replaced by a fifty plus days old entry. That’s not good either.
This entry is actually entry number 500, a fact that calls for a celebration. I celebrate by drinking a glass of juice and bringing you a new default theme. If the site looks just like it did the last time you visited, then you’ve decided to use another theme than the default one at some point in time. To see the new theme, simply go to the Themes section and click the bottom link to delete your theme cookie. Alternatively, you can choose the new theme directly. It’s called Knife in Butter #1 for no apparent reason. As always I’ve made no real effort to make it look good in Internet Explorer, I recommend using a real browser, like Opera or Firefox instead. The theme is not perfect, but it’s a welcome change from the old ones. Note the subtile background tiles. I stole that design idea somewhere.
I’m also seriously considering getting a new host for this web site. The one I’m currently using were great when they were small, but they have grown too large too fast, not being able to continue to deliver the great service they once did. Well-known host Media Temple looks like a mighty fine alternative at an affordable price. Even if they have a god damn Flash site.
And on top of all this, I removed the link to the Mobog section, mostly because the script had suddenly decided to die but partly because I’ll soon have to hand in the cam phone I’m currently using. The phone belongs to NRK, and I’m only an NRK employee for a couple more weeks. Read on!
As you’ve probably figured I’ve been terribly busy the last couple of months. The reason for this is that I’ve been working 12+ hours every day, plus weekends. The usual eight hours at NRK, then a few more hours at another company. To make a very long story very short, I’m leaving NRK when my contract ends on the 1st of June to work full time in a new company. We’ll be working on various solutions for mobile devices. It’s a risky business, but it’s a once in a life time opportunity, and I would probably regret it if I didn’t give it a try. Visit Rubberduck Media Lab on the web at www.rubberduckmedialab.com, alternatively co.uk or .no. And wish us luck.
In other news I should mention that my favourite artist, Matthew Good has released not one but two songs from his upcoming album, White Light Rock & Roll Review. Both great songs, just the way I like Mr. Good.
From now on I’ll hopefully be able to post new entries more often than I’ve done lately. But don’t hold your breath while waiting.

HeyHeyHey..
I hope NRK pays you a shitload of money, I’m guessing you’re working your ass off as a result of them being to cheap to extend your contract beyound May.. Then they would have to offer you a permanent contract, and why on earth would they wan’t to hire talented and hard working people.. If it was me in your shoes I’m not sure if I’d work that hard for such a cheap-ass firm.. But then again I’m still in school, looking forward to being unemployed in about a month.. :p
"… various solutions for mobile devices." .. harrharr.. have you tried to Goggle "Rubberduck Media Lab" (including the ") ??? :) .. try it .. :p ..
Anyways .. congrats with the new job.. it must be a hell of a lot better than working for two months at a time contracts..
I’m working very little extra for the NRK at the moment, so I don’t get any more money then I usually do from them.
When it comes to your Google search for our little Lab, I want you to call me pr0n-Vegard from now on.
Grats on new job in your new company.
I hope you remember us when you become a multi millionaire. No need to call us if you go broke or go to jail for embezzlement.
So nothing more to say than
Good luck to you pr0n-Vegard!
congrats!
yay for updates!

yay for new job!
