SomaFM is gone
The gem of Internet radio went off the air two days ago, killed by the RIAA and the CARP. SomaFM brought us an impressive mix of good sounds, their main attraction being Groove Salad, laid back beats helping thousands of cubers get through the day in one piece.
Learn more in SomaFM’s special CARP section. This article from The Register is also an instersting read with some good links.
The IRAA killed a legend. Bug them.
Update: Bluemars and their other stream Cryosleep also got axed. Other channels may also have been shut down, but I’m unable to check their streams with my current PC configuration.
