Guess who’s coming to town
For all of you gaming-heads out there, I’ve got some good news: Counter-Strike v1.6 has been released. This actually happened a while ago, so you probably know about it already, but I thought I’d mention it anyway. I used to play CS a lot, but didn’t realize that the new version was out until yesterday. I’m, as they say, “out of the loop”. Shame on me.
Taking my bike on one of those trips to Sognsvann yesterday, I stopped at a gas station to check the air pressure in my tires. I try to keep it as high as possible to minimize the friction. I should also fix the breaks on my rear tire so that they don’t get stuck, but that’s another story. Anyway, I usually stop at this gas station to check the pressure and there is always somone else there already doing the same. This time some chick with an old bike had beat me to it, and she was trying to inflate her front tire. A very loud hissing noise revealed that her attempt wasn’t very successful, and after about a minute of I decided to come to the rescue. A quick investigation revealed that her tire had the wrong kind of valve. First rule of inflating stuff: Whatever tool you use have to fit the valve.
I’m out of plans for the weekend, or so I thought. But now I know what I’ll be doing. Christina Aguilera is coming to town, you’ll find my in the bushes outside her hotel. Anyone wanna join me?
