Crap, it’s time for this again...
My mind has been in total overdrive all day. And by that I don’t mean that overdrive where you come up with thousands of great ideas, solve advanced math or write a best selling novel. That’s the good overdrive. I’m having a bad overdrive, where I just tend to think and analyze things way too much. It’s been quite a while since I’ve had one of these, which is a good thing, because I don’t like having it. Or in a strange way I do like it, because I guess I have to analyze my life a little once in a way. But hopefully, it’ll get a little more peaceful in a day or two.
I’ve also realized that when I have something I have to do, no matter how small or huge a task, I get stressed out. But when I don’t have anything to do, I get bored. So I should probably try to fall into a state that’s somewhere in between the two, and I guess that’s sleep. So sleep it shall be. In a while.
“We were very surprised. They weren’t rolling over the way we thought they would.” - U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Joshua Menard, 21, wounded in Iraq.
You’re at war, stupid, your enemy won’t roll over. Dogs do that.
