Capital Punishment

Spotted on TV2 Nyhetskanalen, a Norwegian news channel, yesterday.

A little background, all from Wikipedia:

In May 2009, French and his business partner and friend Moland were arrested in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, accused of murdering their driver by gunshot and of espionage for Norway. The men claimed that their driver was murdered by gunmen who waylaid them. On September 8, 2009, they were both found guilty of all charges and sentenced to death by a military tribunal in the regional capital, Kisangani.

For the Norwegian impaired, the headlines say something like “Moland and French sentenced to death: fear serious health issues”. Personally, I’d say that capital punishment is a pretty damn serious health issue.
